Ferrari F430
That would be good news, if damage-mode will be included on the disc ( shame for online though ) but then it will be included later eventually.
And I thought with all the in-game previews that they showed on N4G never on one did I see any sunken metal of some sort ( Ferarri F430 in-game crashed on the barriers and also hit one of the cars, but did not get damaged ) was definitely one of the online "demo".
Do believe this would be one of the most "highly&...
They say it will be out here in Australia by October, that's good to hear.
Probably all the better I suppose, so the 80gb version could replace it as the standard "basic" console of choice.
It really does'nt matter ( free or not ). GranTurismo 5: Prologue/"The Real" GranTurismo 5 for 2008 are both Kings of the driving/racing simulator game genre... and it's almost here.
Ready to rev up those consoles!
Can't believe this article turned-out to be a political slinging match?!
Just want to say if you'ved all seen that { crazy german kid video }, might be just one of the reasons they are banning it over there...
I would have to wait a bit more longer than expected... for the "real" GranTurismo 5.
It seems all the features that I'ved been waiting for would finally be implemented on this game and "not" in the Prologue Series:
> Improved AI ( carried over from GranTurismo 5: Prologue and possibly much more-improved )
> Damage-Mode ( this kind of confuses me, because I saw a preview of an in-game trailer { Ferrari F430 } in the Prologue series and the...
Bloody great news! We love you Sony*/Kaz-san.
Very true.
I think this will be the beginning that the other developers of this type of game has to aspire upon.
Because Kazunori Yamauchi/Sony Polyphony has set the benchmark so high, everybody has got a lot of catching-up to do.
Go GranTurismo 5 Prologue
Go Kazunori-san!
Is that already confirmed? - October 26th of { this year or next? }, thought when GranTurismo 5 Prologue gets released "rumble" on the sixaxis pad would have returned same for the "newly developed" force-feedback steering wheel...
Sony - Please offer a bundle deal on your PS3 console w/ the "newly developed" force-feedback steering wheel once GranTurismo 5 Prologue comes-out { for worldwide } release.
Thanks for finally putting in damage-mode and the fantastic in-car ( front/rear - to be improved ) viewpoints.
Love your work!
I am so happy about this friendly(?) competition between Sony PS3 and Microsoft XBox 360.
> Firstly - It drives the price of both these consoles to more acceptable/affordable levels
> They ( PS3/XBox 360 ) have to better/outdo themselves always, which for us is a plus as we get the best of everything ( better? ) consoles, peripherals, games, { bundle } deals, internet game content etc...
> Good for all the competing fanboys/fangirls out there ( love to ...
What more can you ask for?
> Benchmark Graphics - check
> Physics - Can't comment but by the looks of this in-car preview - go to: ( http://www.n4g.com/NewsCom-... ) it will be stunning as well.
> In-Car Viewpoints ( dashboard ) - check
> Damage-Mode - check
> Newly Developed "Force-Feedback" Steering Wheel for GT5 - check
> Rumble Sixaxis Control...
This game is really going to blow the competition away once it finally come-out next year.
The graphics is simply going to the benchmark that everyone has to follow, and from the looks of this video in-game preview the physics would be as phenomenal.
Congratulations again to Kazunori Yamauchi-san and the Sony/Polyphony group.
This is going to be the most eagerly anticipated driving/racing simulator.
This is not really the best video to show GranTurismo 5 Prologue, it looks like any other in-game preview trailer.
I'm not bashing here, as I will definitely get this game myself it's just that they could have shown something better - like shown the car in third person view or a much better perspective is the in-car view ( overlooking dashboard ).
If anybody can show this kind of in-game preview that would be more appreciated...
This is looking to be a very credible film debut for Halo.
Will be eagerly awaiting for more news and pictures/video
previews on this story.
Sony/Polyphony - your such a tease! Kazunori Yamauchi-san - Thank You for bringing all the GranTurismo Series.
What a bloody beautiful looking trailer.
To Sony, Please offer another bundle deal once GranTurismo 5 is released!
Do come-out with the PS3 80gb console with an additional game plus another ( "rumble" ) sixaxis control pad - or maybe { this is a suggestion, just maybe... ) a force feedback steering wheel!
I can't complain really. Imagine being spoiled for choice by XBox 360 - PGR4 and Sony PS3 - GranTurismo 5, both title pushing the bounderies of excellence.
Who cares? They both look fantastic ( graphics ) and I believe the physics would be more than fine.
Each game has it's advantages - and the most important thing is their ( very long ) playability/enjoyment factor.
Funny as hell and actually true.
